Women’s Spring 2010 Bible Study – UPDATED
We will be offering three studies during the Spring Session for Women’s Bible Study. The session is March 4th – May 13th, 2010.
There will be two study times available:
- Thursday mornings 9:30 – 11:30 AM; childcare by reservation only
- Thursday evening 7:00 – 9:00; no childcare available
#1 "How Majestic is Your Name: A Study on the Names of God."
We will use the book Names of God by Nathan Stone (Moody Press). The book was written as a series of radio broadcasts in the 1940s and it examines 12 Hebrew Names of God. We will cover the study in 10 weeks. Each week we will read 10-20 pages of text before class and then use the class time for review, discussion and shared Bible reading. In addition to reading the text, class participants will have the option of a weekly creative project to complete.
Participants in this study will need to purchase their book when signing up and read chapter 1 before March 4th. This is Thursday mornings 9:30 – 11:30 AM only; childcare by reservation only.
#2 "Esther: It’s Tough Being a Woman"
The Old Testament story of Esther is a profile in courage and contains many modern parallels for today’s woman. Esther’s destiny can be yours as you know more deeply the God who is in your corner. This is Thursday mornings 9:30 – 11:30 AM only; childcare by reservation only.
#3 Ephesians
A study through Ephesians. This is Thursday evenings 7:00 – 9:00 only; no childcare available
