The Gospel In Me: September 23, 2018

Before every baptism we have the privilege to hear stories of how God has saved people in our church and community through the gospel. In order to encourage one another, we will be posting these “gospel stories” after each baptism!

Knowing Jesus created a change in my mind. I love Jesus and love others. Before I knew him I was foolish and bad.
I learned about Jesus from teachers at my church and my parents. They taught me about the love of God. My teachers taught me about the times of Jesus and the Bible. Jesus died on the cross for my sins. He rose after three days. Through him I am forgiven. I have accepted Jesus into my heart. It makes me a better person.
I act differently because I have accepted Jesus died for me. Accepting him in my heart has changed me. He is my Lord and Savior. I want to spread the word of the gospel across the world. I love to worship him. He died for our sins and forgave us for everything. We are saved if we pray and accept the Holy Spirit in our hearts. Everyone can be forgiven from the top of their heads to their toes if they give their hearts to Christ.
When Jesus is in your life, you are changed. Not by being baptized, but by accepting Him as your Lord and Savior you are saved. I behave like never before and have Jesus in my heart. He is always in my heart no matter what. I act nicer and barely sin, but there is still sin in my heart. I ask Jesus to forgive me.
