Just One Ministry

In 1976, president Gerald Ford proclaimed a week in November to be National Adoption Week.  In 1990, that week grew to a month, now called “National Adoption Awareness Month.”  As Christians, we are called to care for all orphans (James 1:27).  It is a daunting task considering the number of orphans worldwide is over 130 million.  In Kentucky, there are 5,000 orphans waiting for “forever familes.”  What’s the church to do?  If every church in the USA adopted on orphaned child, the siutation would be eradicated!  Find out how you can make a difference in the lives of orphans at iCareAboutOrphans.org.  In March, LaGrange Baptist Church will launch the “Just One” orphan ministry.  Please be in prayer about how God will use you to help just one child.
